My 800th Post, I Just Realized |

and I don't really mean to boast its not quite a thousand just yet but I wrote this in case I forget to write something special at the time when three zeros show up under this name of mine so in honor of this special day I'm inviting you all for some Chardonnay and to share some acorns for dinner tonight a gourmet treat, by firelight so come one, come all...my dear poet friends watch your step on the ladder, as you descend into my subterranean home under the woodpile, where I write my poems I live there all winter, to stay out of the cold but come springtime, I'll scamper...lively and bold through the woods and the tangled underbrush when days are long and there is no rush to gather these acorns while I may and save them for a colder day when I'll share them, sauteed on woodchip toast to celebrate my 800th post  copyright2002 Lyra Nesius "poetry is life distilled" Gwendolyn Brooks [This message has been edited by Madame Chipmunk (01-15-2002 03:43 PM).] |

Lyra darling girl how utterly wonderful is this. My 800 that is fantastic, you are doing so well, and your writing gets better and better. Didn’t I tell you that you’d love it at Passions? I couldn’t be happier that you are doing so well, I always look for your name darling girl and try to get all of yours and Juanita’s that I can. Kay...Thanks, and you are right, It does sneak up. Its hard to believe that I have 800 already. I've only been here for a month Roger...Thank you too...but this isn't Chipmunk Stew. Randy...thanks and I hope to see you there. Dave...I cannot believe you would really try Michigan pizza! Now that is a first. I should really frame this reply....and of course I am a chipmunk!
