NIV Mark 10:16 Four children, all had Cerebral Palsy Three died in infancy At eleven, he is there Penning sweetness in his wheelchair Writing poetry. His mother now knows that she has it too But God has blessed the earth With His Gift, the precious birth The little, now noted author Of precious "heart songs".  (tears fall down my cheeks) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is so sad but beautiful! (sigh) My heart cries out to him that all his brothers died, but I am also admired by his wisdom and courage and love in his incredible words, and to me he is everyones hero! (wipes tears) Soooooooo beautifully sensitive, sweet friend, we all love you so much! Amen! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Newell, thank you for sharing! I don't know the whole story behind this poem, but on face value it is very touching and speaks of courage in the face of adversity. Wonderful melding of Scripture with a moving poem and picture of courage. Thanks for it. |
