Repost: It Starts With The crunch of gravel. The back and withdraw. The purr of the motor. The close of the door. The tone of the turn. The beam of the lights. The moan of the wind. The closure of night. The weight of boredom. The blues and the mews. The touching of sleep. The fight and refuse. The weary dreary. The length of the track. The humbling truth. Without a way back. The ending of dawn The rebirth of morn. |

What a wonderful metaphor, to hear night crunching along the gravel, leaving way for dawn... ah, this picture likes Sun very, very much! |

I've read this several times and get many different meanings with each. I like poetry that allows me to ponder. |
