I received from you
a gift today.
A gift that shall always
be cherished.
'Tis not premade
nor store bought
nor false in anyway.
I can feel
when looking at this
that you poured
both heart and soul
into it's creation.
I can see the slight flaws
and how you must have tried
to correct them.
I can feel
the pulse of love
in every aspect of this.
I know not how long
it's creation took
nor does that matter
in any way.
For I know that every minute
every second
which you devoted
to it's completion
was a minute
a second
spent devoted
to me.
