I think about you often
As I go about my day,
Life won't be the same dear friend
If you choose to go away.

I'll wonder how you are getting on
In your surroundings new,
I pray that you'll find happiness
In everything you do.

We've shared so many things this year
You and I together---
Your friendship is a precious gift
In fair or stormy weather.

It goes beyond my saying friend
I'll miss you very much,
And hope this little note will help
To keep our hearts in touch.
