When the wind is softly whispering- I seem to hear your name. It’s caress as gentle as your own- They almost feel the same. The nectar of the mountain air- As sweet as your perfume… Your memories and laughter- Fill each and every room. My dreams at night are haunted- By things we both have said… I wake up reaching for you, Then remember that you’re dead… But death is the transition- To a better place, you see- I have the utmost confidence, You’re waiting there for me. So I will go on living- As long as I draw breath… But I will never truly live, Till I close my eyes in death. |

John, this is sad yet comforting somehow. It expresses thoughts my stepdad, could not say poetically, but said in tears. My mom passed away last October, and dad said on Thanksgiving Day that he was planning on joining her real soon, because he missed her too much to be apart for long. He left us 4 months later. I think I'll email a copy to my brother Steve. Thank you. |

This is beautiful John. And yes, I firmly believe that when love is true, and one dies, that we do meet back up again in the next life...for eternal love...eternal happiness If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |
