There's a little bird on my shoulder
telling me what good friends I've made,
and to know that I've been blessed, for
God sent you my way....

The little bird says to be thankful that
your friendship has come my way,
and that I should cherish the love and
happiness you've shared with me each day....

I told the little bird he was right, for I
have been very blessed,
That I cherish our friendship, and you
have brought me much happiness....

So now just let me thank you for always
being there,
For listening as I rambled on, as each
thought I shared....

Thank you for being you, and accepting
me for who I am,
and if I haven't told you lately,
Thanks for being such a good friend....
