Trust doesn't magically appear
It's built over a two way street
Until you have trust
A relationship is not complete

If trust is taken advantage of
It will take time to recover
They may just walk away
And leave you to suffer

Sometimes the truth may hurt
but it will set you free
What do you when you hit the point

I wanted to quote the part which I liked and comment on it (my usual way), but I just couldn't. This whole poem is just so great! Cross my heart!

I too agree that love and trust goes hand in hand, and trust is something that takes a while to build. Only with trust that we know we can count on our mate, that we could depend on him/her to stand by whatever may come...

This is really well written. Simple and sweet.

You are absolutely correct, trust can take a long time to heal. When we truly love someone, no matter how badly they may have broken our trust, we should always find the strength to forgive them. Trust is the cornerstone of all relationships, and love is the foundation for them to be built upon. Without the cornerstone, the building may crumble, but the foundation remains, and when the rubble is cleared away, the foundation may be built on again. *SMILE*

Trust is one of the essential ingredients for a relationship...if things are missing we find ourselves doing to much of the work...and doubting the value of the relationship...James
