--- Thank You Big Mac --- I must take a break from My normal sad write. To pay a brief tribute To a man of great might. Gravity contained All but Big Mac The first man to Hammer seventy jacks. He hit the ball high He pounded it deep Even in practice, He filled all the seats. Babe Ruth was great There is surley no doubt. But everyone gasped When Big Red hit one out. As Maddux and Glavine Reminded us all, Women like Mac 'cause "Chicks dig the long ball." A moderm Paul Bunyan Who carried a bat. You did it with class We thank you for that. Note : the "Chicks dig the long ball !" line is a reference to a TV commercial in which Braves pitchers Tom Glavine & Greg Maddux jealously determine that Heather Locklear prefers Mark McGwire's company to theirs because ... "Chicks dig the long ball!" So please hold off with the tar & feathers. Humor ladies ... ha ha funny! No one ever listened themselves into trouble. LonelyStranger~ This is just adorably done~ I LOVE baseball ... and the bigger the 'bat' ... the longer the 'ball'~ But, it's the 'catcher' that makes the play~   MARGE TINDAL ... go to the locker room ! ! It's ok, 'cause there are some of us ladies who just go 'batty' over baseball!!!!!!! oops.....did I say that? I love this one, and back it goes to the girls in the bleachers!!!!  The road goes on forever, the stories never end, and people are the same the world over! |
