This friend will be there throughout
Wanting to just sit, laugh and shout
Giving you friendship without a fee
Help you grow to once become free

A bond of kinship given by each word
Laughing and crying of thoughts heard
Letting each other ever know that they
are special, wonderful in their own way.

Keep my friendship without any fear
Let it grow, for this will remain dear.
Live a life free of burdens, of shame
and never forget this one  friend’s name.

Give my your heart to place next to mine
Let me come  in that we might sup and dine.
Always remember that you will forever  be
my dear friend throughout  all of eternity..

And if your days are clouded and dreary
where your heart feels heavy and weary
Remember always this friend does care
and your presence is a treasure so rare.
