Thanksgiving comes once every year I'm saddened that I have to have it without you here Grandma you always made the best sugar cookies To gobble them up in one night is all it took me So I will be thinking of you as the family gathers around the table I wish you could come back to me but you aren't able I remember your favorite was pumpkin pie I'll eat a piece for you and try my best not to cry I hope you're having a feast with the angels above However, I know God is taking care of you with his unconditional love Last but not least I'll say a pray for you so that you can rest in peace [This message has been edited by RosePetal (edited 11-20-2001).] |

How well I can relate to this....I too was thinking of a special someone I have loss, it was my 27y/o son I loss 5yrs. ago and the only thing that keeps me sane is to know he is still here with me, for he will forever be in my heart. A very touching and beautiful poem.......~lewisone~ |
