Walking rain drenched streets Oil and grease aroma Scenting cold night air Hop scotch puddles waiting Black tar country heaven Farm boy's happy trails Winding to his future Just one leading home |

so easy to just form my own understanding of what this means to the poem. love vauge little ditties as such that can be interpretted any number of ways. there are a few very popular books written like that. best sellers for several centuries even. there's a lot to be said for ambiguity. there's something about your poems i like in general. but, as i only tend to read poems with a max of 2 comments, i don't see all your ditties. this is just my screening process so i'm not here all day reading people's stuff. i'll go mad anyway trying to understand it all. if you care to, i'd like to learn your inspiration behind this piece. WARNING: this reader is not prone to terse, canned comments. |
