EYES The eyes unlatch the minds of youth To learn of man and nature’s truth Engraving everything they find For eyes are teachers of the mind The eye’s a window that displays The joy and sorrow of your days Lost love makes tears of pain depart For love is teacher of the heart From eye to mind to thought profound The eye observes its own surround And seeks to learn life’s precious goal For life is teacher of the soul A tear that falls from sorrow’s brow Seeks peace of mind but knows not how A tear that vanishes in strife Is from an eye that knows of life Elizabeth Santos |

The eyes can never lie for they reveal who we truly are. I have known people whose eyes just seem dead and found out, to my regret, that they are dead in many ways. A magnificent poem filled with truth. Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

well done my friend. . . we see you through these words. . . ----------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

I hate to do this but it is true, "the eyes are the windows of the soul" and my eyes see that you are not only wise but a wonderful poet. ~*~ Carpe' Diem ~*~ |
