I've not been one to fill with dread where thoughts would roam my foot would tread, the ink then flows and certifies and journey's lesson publicize. I every other Sunday head to visit one some left for dead and while I know I'm criticized the mirrors I pass reflect truth's eyes. The desperate we incarcerate know only fear, taught only hate, we reinforce them no account assure success they'll ne'er amount. Yet money, power seperate the one's who walk from those who wait, these are my thoughts, my sermon mounts while obtuse guards screw up the count. The table next accomodates a man with babe who too awaits to show with pride what Love begets and share his joy with mom Annette. Unswung the loud and leaden gate, unhung her heavy head it's weight of shame and blame of rued regret for near two hours time'd forget. Her gap toothed smile all fear disarmed first cradled grandchild in her arms, a place where feeling's best kept in now blooms of laughlines, unbound grins. The course hands worked on prison farms seems softened by Cherez's charm, they share a caramel like skin this grandma's first born cherubim. Her fingers smooth the newborn's dress she proudly changed the diaper's mess her lips to baby's forehead pressed their bond, this place transgressed. The tiny hands and feet caressed so short's the time this Love's expressed despite the setting t'was noblesse was touched I'll here confess. No, life is not a one two beat in iamb lines of nice and neat for many it is incomplete in lives where Love's delete. For two short hours I'd a seat and view of something pure and sweet this Sunday's story now complete where Love knew not defeat. "Happy people have no history" - French Proverb |

It sounds like your inner soul was touched by the beauty of love that you witnessed. Your words paint the picture well with all the soft feelings you express. Very well done. I am glad you had a wonderful Sunday. The softness shows in your words. Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed reading this, and thinking about my own Grandma. Thanks! Carolina |

With golden pen and golden heart, your Sunday best you did impart, to share with us a timeless truth, LOVE has no boundaries, no prison walls, save those we make ourselves. |

RS--Being a new gramma...this just blew me away...I know, not gramma talk, but I'm still just me. You are a very talented writer and I am impressed by the sensitivity you show. |

Richard, I believe this is, to me anyway, the most sensitive piece I have read of yours since arriving here at Passions. I truly enjoyed this, for which I thank you. Nancy. ~I've loved you forever, in lifetimes before.~ |

I can't help think of that Grandma's pride in that moment - and how important that memory will be to her each day that she cannot be with her family... You've done a wonderful job expressing this touching saga, RS.. |

To watch love unfold before out eyes is truly a blessing. Such tenderness in your expression. Really nice. |
