Love... that's one of those words that's so easy to say and so hard to do. Why is that? I wish I knew. At times I feel like I don't even have a clue. And that's why I'm asking you. JamesLee November18 2001 |

I find it easy to love, Larry. sigh...I fall in love with everyone! I love the differences in people and just enjoy meeting and discovering their idiosyncracies and just generally celebrating their uniqueness. What I find more difficult? Is accepting BEING loved. (sigh...I DO have issues, smile) But guess what? I LOVED your poem! |

Someone once told me that love is a choice. That when we wake up each morning if we say I am going to love my husband/wife/mate today than they do. I find it very easy to give love but not so easy to receive love. I don't know if anyone can answer these questions. **hugs** take care. Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

I'm agreeing with you. It's so easy to say it, but I don't think it's so hard to do it. If you love someone, you just do. There's no reason to it, and you don't have to say anything to prove it. It just shows in your every action. But it's so easy saying it, that makes love so dangerous. How do you know when he/she really really loves you? I could say I love you, but I might not mean it. How do you know if he/she means it? Getting hurt by someone you love is such a tragic experience, I don't think I could go through it once more. |

There are so many different way that people are afaid to love don't know how to love and don't think they can love a person long enough. I fall into one of these catergies and it makes me wonder how we mange to find and love at all. And your right it is hard to love. I breathe the dust, the dust is me. |

Funny-I had a conversation about this recently my friend Jane. Only for me--it is NOT easy to say. I can't say those words. I think one of the reasons people find it hard to do is because they've had extremely negative experiences with it. My answer to that is that is wasn't love. Because real love doesn't hurt. In my own experience and opinion----I think people say those words too easily. Most people don't really understand the power or the significance of those words. And how they can really affect a person's life. |

Such few,but such powerful words.Maybe it's hard to love because the majority of us have been hurt so much that we tend to hide our love behind a wall. That way maybe to save it from being hurt again.I think for alot of people it's easier to love and harder to thin that they are worthy of love.My heart goes out to you. James, I agree with Carol. (see above) I fall in love so easily, and, I am easy to love. I am also in love with love... which is another whole discussion altogether! *sigh* LOL..hugs, Nancy. *sigh* ~I've loved you forever, in lifetimes before.~ |

In my experience, nothing worth having comes easy. It's tough, but well worth it in the end. Nice write, James. All writing comes |
