How I've Come

I have crawled back from death's door
Slamming it shut, out of desperate fear
Unable to help a dreadful stare, back.

Stumbling up managing a walk
But, unable to run.

Only through God's grace
Have I come here.

To share the words
Which once came
Without doubt or trouble

But yet now
Very dear!

Crying without control
Rembering the look back
Not knowing why.

Yesterday a reflection
A year
Unable to recall.
