In the wrong town Unchanging faces With marmalade grins No apple in eye Skipping down crooked streets Lost it On a straight curve Someone threw my way Walking now On paved black pain Feeling the glare From glass eyed houses Hearing buzy body buzz Above Through wired branchless trees No bark less bite Cold white concrete paths Useless grafitti Scratched in its beginnings Leading to stranger's doors Rubber welcomes Staring up at me But first Scuff those dirty soles Must leave this place Love locked up tight Behind walls of fear Trust here has disappeared Path to new life On straight road ahead Leaving crooked ones behind In the wrong town |

*sigh* I lived in a town like this once. I was ever the outsider looking in but not really wanting to be a part of their cold existance. Very well done, Sir Robert. **hugs** I hope you get to watch the glorious Metor shower tonight. Our skies are cloudy so I will miss it and I am heartbroken over it. I had visions of laying in a field watching this glorious spectacle of God's creation. *sigh* Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

Skipping down crooked streets Lost it On a straight curve Someone threw my way Very cool write. I've lived in a few wrong towns myself. |
