The Mirror of Your Eyes ‘Tis right for poet or artist’s eye That takes up what love belies What we discern in all reality Is but conceived by your fantasy Do see then with heart’s spirit blithe Those words shared as hear it light Sung of souls met, this song sublime Gives one cause to come in time Would with thee I inhabit such delight If I eyed thee so in candle’s light To mirror me your pleasure just That thee see reflected trust Now Sire, seek these eyes of green Thy trust I have, this, thy love’s dream This one heart holds thy passion’s flame All of which abides, in reality’s name O do please share with me twinklings Of thy spirits that roam in your dreams ~*~ ©Karilea Rilling Jungel 29 October 2000 revised 24 December 2001 |

Sunshine - Beautifully done and very intriguing. It reads as if love is whimsical and in reality can't truly exist, but we all hope our dreams of love will someday become real. I don't know why, but I am on an interpretation kick today, and usually I am wrong. Either way, I liked. Dave |
