A visitor touched my shoulder chill
Her voice went right through me cold
The eyes were of daggers of icicles
My breath froze within itself
Her presence here was an omen in frigidness
Stone cold was her meaning to stare
Words frosted in meanings crystallized before me
As I fought for numbness
My eyes watered snow
Yet as she turned to go
Her presence had somehow reassured me
Within the cold blooded artic winds
And in a wisp she floated away
In a whirling death trap
Taking all the life within her reach away

But what was it she saw that took her away
All I did was think about my family
And the love that was so warm there
And all the heat in the passion of the one I love
And how I would miss the fireplace of love
That is so special
When two can share it
In a blanket of cuddles
That heats up as we breathe
Where no freezing can take place
For we are on a mission
In the friction of affection
Yes, maybe I know
She was jealous

D.,
You have painted a very accurate picture of jealousy indeed. Well done. Jealousy is not love.
