Tomorrow is the throbbing and one step (another) leaves my stomach behind, trailing - creeping up in straight lines. It spills in cycles and rises inside, swirling. I fear swallowing so much I’ll collapse. I have. Today, it loses just a little. Because I try, and it isn’t quite tomorrow yet. Though one again to follow only hurts, only leaves me two in debt again. And one of these tomorrows it will be. Today. Skip. Skip. - A crash. I know. |

My understanding of this poem was very personal and perhaps very different from your intended meaning. I found it intriguing. Something I'd like to have coffee over and discuss. Though, I will settle for telling you that I enjoyed it very much. |

There have been many days I wanted to skip over, and go to the next one. "It spills in cycles and rises inside, swirling. I fear swallowing so much I’ll collapse. I have." Me too. Hugs, and have a wonderful warm holiday, sweet Spitfire. You always touch my mind and heart. |

Spitfire, this reminds me of the saying...I try to take one day at a time but lately several days have ganged up on me. Only your poem is more profound. Keth Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |
