I often think back to those nights Of those endless conversations We'd talk as we walk Never caring about the destination. You would speak of old friends Your stories, I clung to each part They were all so dear to you Fondly etched in your heart. I often think back to those nights I'd think as I walk Of you chatting with another Am I an old friend of whom you talk. Let's put the FUN back into Dysfunctional. |

Oooo, I really enjoyed this one! I really never thought about it like that. I often speak of old friends and old loves. Now I wonder if someone out there is with someone new and speaking of me. Great first post! I look forward to many more. |

Turning the mirror on one's self is a good thought to have - how would we be remembered... well, I hope, as well done as this. Welcome to Passions! Karilea |

A rather nice first post! I like the questioning theme of it. And welcome to the joint, I think you will like it here. You are among amateur friends. "As soon as the generals and the politicos can predict the motions of your mind, lose it." Wendell Berry |

Great write of quiet reflection. I have often wondered the same in my life. Love your signature line. Big welcome to these pages...I think you're going to fit in real well. If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

Welcome. I like the way you moved from your walks together to his walks with another, nice reflective sequence. I like your message and your style. Nothing low-level about either one. |

Wow, I feel so overwhelmed by the positive responses to my poem and my presence; I do appreciate it greatly. This was my favorite of all the poems I have written and is the first time any of my poetic writings have been viewed by anyone. This may not be the best forum topic for this, but I do welcome any comments, assistance or critcism in order to improve my writing. Let's put the FUN back into Dysfunctional. |
