Christmas cheer..........anyone want to pull a cracker with me?

There was a Christmas pudding quite large
That was eaten by great aunty Marge
She ate like a Rabbit
And formed a bad habit
And now she’s as big as a barge

The cake we have is fairly big
It ‘s a mixture of currents and fig
With icing on top
It’s the cream of the crop
And there’s Holly on top in a sprig

Father Christmas came the other night
But unfortunately he started a fight
He got rather surly
When we told him ‘Your early’
But the Sherry made everything right

Christmas morning and the weather is freezing
‘Lets go for a swim’ I said ‘You are teasing’
‘No lets dive in the lake’
Fifteen lengths it will take’
And the effects it will have can be pleasing

Roast turkey with stuffing and gravy
Is eaten with glee in the navy
But when a sailor drinks grog
And his mind’s in a fog
The ocean looks terribly wV

I'm away in Switzerland for Christmas........so it's goodbye for now.

That I simply can't shrug

With a Limerick you don't want to hear
