Driving far too fast around an oval, Chasing time... We call it entertainment... But I think we've lost our mind. A man who weighs one forty- With his spurs strapped to his boots- Stands above a ton of bull... There at the bucking chutes. A climber, like a spider- Hangs upon a sheer rock wall... A thousand feet below him- Rocks are waiting for his fall. Divorce is running rampant- Marriage victimized by pride! Why can't we realize that we're- Committing suicide? Life is brief, but precious... Happiness a state of mind. Ability to face that truth... Is mighty hard to find. |

(sigh) Oh my gosh, how did this get to the second page without a comment! (sigh) Such important wisdom and emotion fills these words, dear friend! Sometimes with the woes we experience, it is hard to approach that truth, but deep down, as long as we hold our dreams close and believe in our hearts, we will all find this statements so very believable! (big hugggsssssss) We all love you so much, dearest friend, this is wonderful work! Now back up to the top you go! You have such a beautiful heart, dear John, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |
