I bought antique satin drapes for the holidays
a purple satin bedspread for the bedroom
he tells me not to spend money
I said,  "They are my Christmas presents honey"

i try to be sneaky
not tell him everything i do
i try to surprise him all the time
but the door bell always rings after dinner
his blood pressure begins to climb

its always the UPS man
now in the dark of night
spoiling my surprise
always starting a fight

he sleeps in his recliner
but the doorbell causes him to open his eyes
im going to report this UPS guy
why cant he deliver during the day?
always when my husband is home
giving me away

now he knows to look for the bills
maybe i can hide them
i know they give him chills
i told him i charged them on the Visa
i tell him not to get upset
"im building frequent flyer miles
so dont worry about the debts"

we can fly to Vegas for free
if the UPS guy doesnt make him kill me..

(smiles) Sooooo cute indeed! (sigh) Hope you got plenty of frequent flyer miles off of that! (big hugggsssss) Sooooo wonderfully expressed and inventive, sweet friend, I believe we all have these situations in orders before Christmas! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Victoria, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Your telling of the story kept me interested all the way until the excellent ending. I enjoyed reading this.
