Lonliest I've ever been
Does it get any worse than this?
No one to listen when I need a friend
I'm down, I'm up, then down again
Things out of sorts, I try to deal
People around me swear they know how I feel
When you're down, I'll hold you through the wind
My spirits soar when I touch your skin
Life can sometimes bring grief
but it's up to you to find relief
Let me have time alone if I must
When I'm down for too long
Use your helping hands to pick me up
Be there for me when I am down
A misplaced heart can always be found

Your poem is beautiful, Joanna and I hope you are feeling up right now, because Santa Clause is coming to town real soon!
This is actually an easy time of year to feel down. If you are a little depressed, everyone else's happiness can really knock you down.

This is the season to feel happy but to also experience sadness. So we must find the light to guide us through. Beautiful poem.
