You are there, here with me.
Embedded in my memory.
Years stretch out in front of me
still, you'll be there, here with me.

We spoke of life, some fifty years
that you'd be here to calm my fears.
Who knew the end would be so near,
now you are there, and I am here.

Save a place right there for me
where we can spend eternity.
Until this life has set me free,
you are there, here with me.

Remember me with a smile on your face, or please don't remember me at all.

Lucie,
You're getting a little soft girl. But must admit you do it well!
