Changing everything between us
is not what I thought we'd do
between me and you I thought we were cool
sure an arguement or two, but not to make a fuss

Now things I've relied on are slipping away
maybe they were never even really there
I fell upon my reflection the other day
and I couldn't help but stare
Looking into my eyes, trying to find a why
Searching for meaning and hope
finding nothing but soap, nothing to fill the hole

So here I stand alone
clinching my fists, trying to resist
to feel
it's all so unreal
a separation anxiety reel
as I wait by the phone
hoping you'll come back home

(big hugggsssss) Oh Doug, my heart goes out to your anxiety, for I know how you feel for I too have felt lonely a lot! (sigh) I am sure with all my heart you'll find all the love you're looking for, and you will be happy forever after! (sigh) We all love you so much, sweet Doug!
