One more tear....a larger ocean:

So many dropping from joy,

Even more from sadness and pain,

Started out as small streams,

On the faces of our lives,

Then joining the rivers,

Of the land we roam,

Flowing now as one,

To the sea,

Tears of sorrow and happiness,

Blending together,

Unable to tell one from the other,

Each wishing someday to become another tear,

Hopefully of joy,

Yet then again,

Could come back as a rain drop,

Brought here by a dark cloud,

Never again to know emotion,

Still,

Many will finally return,

If not to another's eyes,

Ever so surely,

Back to that living growing ocean.

I read this poem right after re-reading Sir Robert Blake's final logbook of Dec 4, less than 48 hours before he was killed aboard the Seamaster, anchored in the Amazon following a three month expedition. I wrote a tribute/eulogy Dec 7, "Sail Away Sir Blake." This poem somehow fits the mood that goes with my thoughts today, and my reflections on life and death.
Thank you.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh dearest brother, I know just how you feel, for our world is flooded with emotions, in a confluence of joy and sorrow, and together all of us can help harmonize with each others emotions and someday love and respect one another and understand what each tear means. (sigh) Such a powerfully edifying and wonderful read, sweet brother, I always love your words! (big hugggsssssss) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet knight, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

May all these tears be shed from happiness, not sorrow.
