The day is not winter, not fall
it doesn’t belong
in December

voices intimate, familiar
memories misshapen, altered
sensations abstract, unearthed

by occasion that finds you
on a day that doesn’t belong
in December

(sigh) So very touching and abstract, sweet friend, it is amazing how when we dream away, we find ourselves in such fascinating wonderful worlds beyond our imagination. (sigh) Soooooooo dazzling, sweet friend, I love your words! (big hugggsssss) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Duncan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

What is up with these weird weather patters, anyway   ? The second stanza was very intriguing, I'm not sure I get it quite yet, but sometimes I like having something to mull over.  Thanks.

Come to Alaska. It's definitely a winter day here. I enjoy your abstract art, Duncan.

How cool is that....
if only it was that easy to take back time.
You always manage to say so much in your so little way
then you make us think....
again I say....How cool is that...waaay cool

Duncan, I love this because it makes me stop, slow down and just think for a bit...love a poem that makes me do that.
This is a cool write my friend.

I like these December days. Be glad if the whole winter was like this. Ah voices, schmoices… tell em to just shup up, go away and stop buggin me!!! Lol…. who said that?….did I say that? Seriously though, funny how selective the memory can be isn’t it? I've done that myself many times

It sure doesn't seem like December. It's weird wasn't Christmas other day? I'm not ready for the yearly Christmas mental overload. I love this one, it speaks to me.

*sigh* a chinook wind came through and melted all our snow. I hope that we get some before Christmas. It sure doesn't feel like Christmas to me without the magic of snow. **hugs**
