Our time is short, but then, it always was. Years, months, days, minutes, just a drop of eternity. To watch you, when your not aware that I am. The way the sunlight touches you like the warmth of my hand. To hear your voice, like cool silk it surrounds me. Warming as it caresses my skin, until I no longer feel alone, I become one with you. Your eyes, searching, like a soft summer breeze they move over me. Seeing me as no one else does, filled with love for you. You whisper, your voice lost in the sounds of life. And yet, I hear you, because I am you. We are one, and I am frightened too. Remember me with a smile on your face, or please don't remember me at all. |
