Today an apple spoke to me,
As I passed beneath its tree,
It was a winesap, red and sweet,
The nicest apple, you'd ever meet.

Firm and ripe, right to the core,
Not like apples, from the store,
Kissed by the sun, fed by the earth,
Filled with sparkling, juicy mirth.

I'd like to tell what apple said,
This nature's jewel, all shiny red,
But while I know my apple trees,
I fear I don't speak applese.

I love this, Tim, simply loved it!

What do you mean, you don't speak applese?
A fun poem, I just wish I could really get one of those fresh from the tree!
