The price of love

I want to hear a love song
tonight
one that gets to my heart
And drink a strong drink
to clear my broken heart
With tears on my eyes
I depart from this love
Too shattered for hope
Too confused to be loved or love
Bartender
give the love potion
I need
to heal my broken heart
Then I will
tell you about a great love
that I lost
after great battles
to conquer it
after great storms
And my friend
my sadness will follow me
forever even in dreams
it will not leave me
until the day I rest in peace

When it gets to this point, you know as I do, that it is time to move on.
And also...easier said than done.
In the meantime, race you to the bar...drinks are on me. Literally, spilled 'em all over myself. See there, made you laugh.
It's all good, walker, it's all for something, though we may not know what, yet.

walker - sad, and very telling. There is a price to pay, not only for a loved one, but for everything. Some prices are just a little higher than others. Best to you...
