When sunlight falls, my Rainbow Dancing Lights shine for you. In restless dreams and fitful sleep My shadow dancer teases me, implores me To arise and run through the shadows of midnight On a quest for the essence of Love's pure delight Aurora, you are the Queen of the Night. And when Aurora's Dancing Rainbow Lights beckon, I slip outside into frosted moonlit night, hugging myself against the cold, embracing the warm northern lights. And I am suddenly embraced by moonbeams and starlight, and brilliant splashes of Monet and Van Gogh that pull my heart and soul to Love. Neon colors fill the sky and I cry out Love's wondrous song, while Aurora reveals the secrets of the Universe. And I dance through the night knowing that all the secrets are within my heart, for that's where I shall find true Love. [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (edited 12-08-2001).] |

Noah, thank you so much! You always have such nice replies. Bridgette, so nice to have your reply! Ah, Eugene must be a bit warmer tonight. You know about these cold nights, tonight the low is at -35F, the high today was -27F. (I live just outside Fairbanks) It's been a few nights since I saw an aurora, the last one was pale green and lasted only 20 minutes or so, then disappeared...at least from my window. LOL I hardly ever go outside to see it when it dances in my window. [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (edited 12-08-2001).] |

Balladeer, you snuck in while I was editing a typo on the reply to Bridgette. Thank you! You are welcome to visit anytime. It's a little chilly tonight, -35F. I am not stepping outside unless I have to! Besides, I have the two moose camped in my yard again tonight, about 15 feet from my porch. They have been here every night for a week. Best to stay inside. |

Midnitesun, Gorgeous thoughts. You sure it wasn't moose that were used to escape that harem of long ago. I want to know how you stay warm at night. I have some ideas. The past is history and the future is a mystery, but today is a gift and that is why it is the present! |

LOL, Larry. So you remember my camel story? Staying warm is easy...just stay indoors with an efficient heater, a bottle of wine or beer, good music, good poetry, and hot thoughts about a dream lover. Is that what you imagined? |

Midnitesun, Actually, I was referring to being in bed. LOL It wouldn't be elctric blankets. The past is history and the future is a mystery, but today is a gift and that is why it is the present! |

Larry, it's just me and the blankies, and sometimes little dog Skippy crawls alongside. He thinks he's human. Auguste, thanks for the reply. The views can be awesome, as can the weather. |

Thanks, Lyra. Didn't you get to see the ones in your area in November? I heard they were dancing one night all the way into Arkansas, and with red and magenta colors I rarely see here. |
