If I Could …………… These Words If I could write words that were wrapped in lace That were shaped by me in style and grace If I could inscribe words that glittered like gold That lay on the page or in your heart took hold If my words flew from my pen with such ease Then you would read aloud my hopes and pleas If I could write the words that sit within my soul Then I would feel complete I would be whole But the words lie flat there along the line They aren’t unique they aren’t divine They don’t sparkle like stars upon the page They don’t bring forth smiles, fear or rage They aren’t special they don’t ring true These aren’t the words that I’d give to you If I could write words that shimmered with light That warmed the soul and made it bright If I could etch the words deep within your soul Then I’d reach within to make you whole If the words were sprinkled with dreams of hope Then I know that they would help you cope If I could write as well as I wish that I could Then all that I wish to do, I surely would But my words don’t flow like a stream They are quiet words they don’t scream There’s no passion held inside their form They don’t speak of sun wind or storm They have no voice they feel quite dead These words aren’t the ones inside my head If I could write words that flowed with delight That sparkled like streams of liquid light If I could show you words that held soft dreams That didn’t break or fall apart at the seams If the words I wrote helped you see a little love Then you could hear angels calling up above If my words could repel the dark of night Then I’d be wrapped in eternal starlight But my words don’t gift you with light They are ordinary not filled with delight There’s no dreams attached they are bland They don’t lead you on into fairyland There’s no magic they don’t fly free These words won’t do for you or me If I could write words that showered your soul That washed you clean making you whole If I could give you the words that touched you That delved inside as only the truth can do If the way I wrote broke that chain setting you free Then you would understand sweet liberty If the words I had at my command could do all this Then I’d write on knowing poetry’s kiss Marsha To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace St John ch2 v1 |

Marsha, If only you could see how far, Your poems reveal how great you are, The passion that flows from your fingertips, Are echos of kisses released from your lips. And all that read and taste their nectar, Are pulled to your heart and the warmth you hold there, So when thoughts and passions you freely share, I wish to the heavens to be your teddy bear(Say with Elvis accent). This is really really good. I love how you presented it, and the two views make it interesting and automatically provokes the response in me that Oh YES you do write with liquid light! Beautiful, beautiful stuff here. I like very much!  ...and her crown was formed by the ice in her eyes |

Mushy girl, your words are lacking in NOTHING!! You write what you feel and you say what you mean. You don't hide behind your words - you stand there alongside them and say "These are my words and this is what I am." Don't ever change...  |

Moah thank you so muchly, I appreciate you I truly do   Kathleen my dear friend, nonsense darling girl I have not done anything that anyone else wouldn't have done.
