Was I wrong in loving you I did everything I could do To make you happy everyday Even hoping that you'd stay You always come and you go I have always loved you so Still I can't even keep you here For you I won't cry another tear Nor will I ever again live in fear The way I did that one year Of being hit by you another time I think I must have lost my mind To continue to stay with you Or even think you'd love me too Sometimes I think I am unlovable With you I'm always in trouble I don't know what I do so wrong With you it seems I don't belong © By Sue 12-7-01 |

 (tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Sue, this is so so sad, I can feel the sadness behind your words! (big hugggssssss) You deserve so much too, no one should ever be abused this way, and no one should ever be denied and hurt like he has done to you! (wipes tears) You are loved by many, sweet friend, and He is preparing the perfect love for you! (sigh) Always believe in your heart, for we all love you so very much! NO ONE belongs with someone who will hit them. It isn't you who is the problem it is the one who makes you feel so badly about yourself. You are better off without someone you don't feel you have to constantly prove your love to. Love is something that just is and is shown in a look or a touch. It is not something that demands perfection of another. *sigh* I am sorry if I sounded off but I have been there and you do not deserve the kind of life that would give you. Find a man who is worthy of all the love you have to give not one who isn't good enough to kiss your big toe.  **hugs**Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. This is very disturbing, if true. I would have to agree with Startime. It's hard to say brutality is good in any form (as in a poem) is what I mean. Good luck to you. |

Ther is a difference between unloved and unlovable. Any guy that will hit a female is not capable of love. If they do it once they will do it again no matter how "good" you are to them. Death comes not when we cease to breathe, but when we cease to dream. |

Smartchick, I am SO glad you are no longer with the person you wrote this about. No one deserves that kind of treatment. You are lovable, and you deserve love, NEVER doubt that. Dear Smartchick, Although you wrote this in the first person, I sincerely hope it is not autobiographical. No one should ever be in such a situation. It is well-written from the point of view of someone who has been so abused that she no longer has any self-esteem. It is a very disburbing poem. Nan |

Sue, don't EVER let anyone make you feel unlovable! If someone makes you feel that way, then they are wrong for you. There is someone who will make you feel loved....believe me. Don't settle for less |
