Lady in Blue
Can give the world to you
If you can only see
The paradise
Lying beyond her looks
Of misery

Lady in blue
Can color your whole world
With all the perfect hues
Can give you a sea of wonder
Waves of enchanting view
If you could only decipher
The secret twinkle in her eyes
If you could hold her forever
And wipe the rains pouring from her skies

She could give you paradise anew
All hidden in her droplets of dew

Lady in Blue
Could give the world to you
But
What would you give her in return?
A heart to wipe away her pain?
Or
A small musical refrain?
That for seconds would remain
Only to leave her again
And again
Forever in her blues
As if she has never given the world
To you…

I like this!!! Here's my poetic response...
I like lady in white : ) now heres lady in red

Lady in Red
Can liven you when you feel dead
She catches your eye from across a room
She smells like fresh roses in bloom
Lady in Red
likes a kind hearted gentleman
She is so genuine
Easily she makes friends.

Thanks for drawing my attention to the title...it happened by mistake. I guess I was thinking of (Lady in white) when I wrote it..

This is a lovely poem. I wonder what you would do with the colors of green, lavender, and gold...
