Rewrite Repost:

               Gone

Thoughts that are a dreamer's net.
Cast into my days sunset.
Held fast by my kismet.

Of heart and brawn she was born.
And baptized around the horn.
She was of lusty spawn.

Stood the oceans rage as few.
And only she and I knew
The many of her coup.

Named and called the Honey Bee.
Mistress of the mortal me
Lost and downed, lost at sea.

My mind rides before her mast
Ever splicing waters past
Until my bones are cast.

Her heart was given to me
Driven then, now shriven free.
She's buried neath the sea.

Sy, what a lovely, old-world poem...you've brought the salt's spray to the blue, and for this, I thank you...

Gone but not forgotten
very cool poem Stinkie, love the triple rhyme lines.
Now she sails the shorelines of your mind...
and thats a very cool sea upon which to sail. *L*
Me thinks you and Randy need to go deep sea diving for sunken treasure..
hows that for inspiration   lol
me

Sprayed across my heart and hers
danced butterflies in the wild.
This angel, this woman,
who loves me with the innocence of a child.

JM,
I did dive for treasure many years ago. Now I seek mental treasures, like butterflies.
Winkiewinkie Randy Stinky.

Severn,

Startime,

"the many of her coup"
So, only you and her knew the many of her coup,
the good lord knew too.
"Coup" as in falling in love?
good poem good poem, good stuff good stuff

You've given me visions of a sailor this morn. One who sails the deepest part of a womans heart! A wonderful sea spray from your treasure box. Hugs!

Sincerely,
Regina
