Love, And My Husband

I whisper to my children sleeping dreamily
as they play with angels,
telling them how I love them
and that without them
I wouldn't want to go on.
I sing soft lullabies
sweet songs that God has given me,
and touch their precious faces,
pushing back a lock of hair.
I kneel between their beds
and pray in silent, wondrous joy;
I kiss each cheek,
push back that stubborn lock of hair,
and with throbbing heart go to bed;
Love and my husband are waiting there.

jwesley... This is beautiful. My sister is due in a few weeks, and my parents are about to join the grandparent brigade! Congratulations, and many, many happy years with your grandchild.

COCOBACI - Glad it warmed your heart my friend-my wife's too. Yeah, we're kinda tickled about the baby - Her name is RYLEIGH BROOKE VANCE by the way.

Martie - Well HAPPY GRANDMA to my friend -
I guess most eventually get there sometime or other - Ryliegh had some kind of infection when born so they're keeping her a few days...ATT they don't seem real concerned though.

James - thanks much ...

Serenity - We've been hugging/being hugged by everybody since Ryliegh came on the scene...

Bec - Thanks - maybe your sister will make christmas babies, huh?? Grandparent brigade -
now there's an awsome term --- right Martie??

Kathleen - thanks for the feeling my friend - and you're right - this and more.

Sandra -- Never thought about having to share my birthday with anyone...kinda neat though - will have to make sure and be there every year...make a special twosome for us.

RosePetal---I guess!! I mean new babies are sorta...you know...red and wrinkled and, and...yep, breath-taking!  Thanks me friend on all counts... Ryleigh Brooke is her handle.

Ryleigh was 6lbs 12oz, 19in - but just a dip in the bucket - heck I was 10 lbs pluse...and on a cute not - my son, her uncle, sent an email to his friends about the baby and said she was 9 lbs, 6-1/2 inches!  Think he was excited???

love ya'll
