As the sun rises slowly ~ I realize it won’t shine upon you, As the day consumes wholly ~ I reflect on the things that you would do, As I now return daily ~ to the tasks that have become too mundane As the bleak guides me solely ~ just knowing that things will not be the same You’re gone Gloom |
