Nothing Terribly Special At All December 2, 2001 Copyright 2001 Doug Pretorius We go on carrying on like we always have daring nothing more than a change between boring clothes We hear the children laughing and smile indifferently pleased to see you again Mr. Jones It’s another perfect day but it wouldn’t matter if it were grey like the mood we’ve practiced to make permanent An ordinary, plain, normal life that never turns right or left or goes anywhere until the day when our life becomes American Beauty and it all goes to hell |

Sounds like quite the rut to be in. I'm sure most can relate, Doug. |

Thats the yin and yang of it all, and American beauty is only a rose. Great write made me think, which is always a good thing, thanks for sharing. Regards, Olias |

Denise: That rut is the way they like it Olias: Perhaps all things, good or bad, must come to an end. Peaches: I certainly wish a life like that on no one! Doug |
