The Shores of Alone

Heartstrings wrapped around my soul
all tied up, nowhere to go
still feel ragged from this loss
loving held too high a cost.

Held by chains which won't release
yearning for some honest peace
knowledge of mistaken love
not removing heart pain of.

Vainly gripped by undertow
quicksand pulling downward slow
no respite for cornered mind
happiness so hard to find.

Many moons have passd me by
while I sat alone and cried
tired of this constant pain
want to live and love again.

Ties of past love; set me free
else there's nothing left of me.

*sigh* sweetie my heart hurts for you. I know it is so hard to lose love..but truly it is priceless and was once worth the cost. I hope and pray that someday, very soon, love will reach out to you and heal the pain you now feel so deeply.
