Everything changes, So why does it seem the same, Words rearranges, It’s a melody of pain, Sung softly and all alone, From some new pages Chiseled in a heart of stone. Acappella night The nightingale makes no sound, Candles give no light, Soon the moment can’t be found As everything wraps us tight, Molten stone flows down A single voice glowing bright. The silence then fills As sounds echo in your head, The stone once more chills, All fades with a sense of dread Emotions broken now spills, Recalls all t’was said, Then the soft song silence kills Gloom inspired by Serenity’s poem “acapella in the night” |
