My heart stands naked

This spirit bared to your view

My thoughts....

Dressed only in their own sincerity

A love....

Exposed entirely by true feelings

Innocence raped....

Peeled away from this stripped mind

Sensitivity....

Ripped to its last lonely thread

My heart....

Clothed only in wishful longing throbs

There have been many a time when I've felt this way a'fore. It's an exposed feeling, a vulnerable feeling. This is an excellent job of summing it up in a poem.

It isn't easy to stand with a naked heart. But being vulnerable also means you are open to love. Well written, Robert.
