The actuality of syntality is an unreality. I am not WE. But a synthesis of left and right yields the combination of US. The antithesis of disunity and analogy, diametrically and dialectically opposed views can and do co-exist, even in a world where insanity rules. (Webster's definiton) syntality: behavioral characteristics of a group perceived as parallel to, or inferable from, the personality structure of an individual [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (edited 11-13-2001).] |

You want to pass whatever you're smoking over here? Sorry Kacy, I think the darkness is getting to you. Walk outside with a flashlight. Take a deep breath. Then again, maybe it's me. |

(sigh) Disunity and analogy are indeed parallel, though they co-exist on the same plane, bringing both all the various opinions and the romance of comparison in focus. (sigh) I feel we do all co-exist, and while not in unity, it's a wonder anyway to experience with so many others with the love and feelings they have to express! (sigh) BRAVO!!! VERY THOUGHT-PROVOKING!!! I LOVE IT!!! (kiss on cheek) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

Duncan, I had to laugh at your reply. Yes, we are down to barely 6 hrs day of pale light. Sorry, smoking isn't good for you, I'll not contribute to your delinquency. Now, where the heck is that giant circular flashlight ????? |

Kit, thanks for sipping tea with me, and just for being here each day to share your thoughts. Sudhir, anytime. You honor me with this reply, as your poetry always makes me think, as well as feel your warm heart. Noah, I like that phrase, "the romance of comparison" Can I borrow it? Yes, all the various hues and views blend into a rainbow, yet are still distinctive, as they should be. Sunshine, yes. I really do love to play around with words. Thanks for playing with me in the Pips playground. |

Janet, LOL at the 'insane' part of your reply. Thanks for the comments. Glad to help out old Webster. At least I gave everyone syntality. |

Sandra, glad you liked it. Larry, LOL. Exactly. Thought I'd save you a trip to Webster's. Nancy, Sorry 'bout the brain buster. Excedrin headache #101? Tylenol just never does it for me. LOL. Hope you have the BIG Webster's version. |

LOL at your reply, Richard. I've been accused of being so excessively right-brained that I'm lopsided. ROTLMAO. It's probably true. |

Glad I noticed this one, Kacy -- a most exhilirating mental workout. Nothing like a few read-reps to get the cerebrum tingling and the serotonin flowing. I enjoyed the metaphors and multiple layers of meaning in this one. It reminded me of something I would write lately. -MVS "If you don't ask: you don't get." -Steve Miller |

Well now, Mark, that's a hefty complement. Thanks! Glad you didn't miss it. It took a some effort from my back-up brain data bank to write this one. I had another version I wrote a year ago, but this one is better. You guys keep me on my toes more in this board that any others I've visited. |

I love when a poet reaches way back into the old noggin and really works at getting the words out. . . this one makes you think and challenges you. . . I love it when a poem can do that. . . excellent. . . --------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Sven, thank you! But sometimes I reach deep into this old brain and come up empty handed. LOL Balladeer, I'll bet you're really ambi-everything... LOL Magnus, LOL at your reply. Need an English translation? How did you know I was working on one about scintillation?? The title will be a play on words. It's not ready to post yet, started it yesterday, needs a little polishing. |
