December Death Another day, another decay another scream within this shell, another ember of emptiness another weep within this hell... tomorrow, I shall rise once more to find that joy's a padlocked door and see my dreams dissapear in the pain of another year, the Lord above is mocking me handing satan my destiny I sit on the throne of forever alone cast into regret's cyclone, dark december is calling me 'tis my fate of vacancy, sacrificed to vile unknown rot of heart to beast and stone, here's my soul to slash and slay scatter my pulse in disarray, bleed of flesh shall liberate seep of breath does vindicate, only death can bring release reaper, I beg for final peace By Melissa P. Dark harbor is where you live. Wow I liked it but that picture is just too scary. J |

Pretty dark thoughts here Melissa. There must be something in the air today here in Ontario, or else you're my twin. Cause I just wrote one with similar thoughts. But dammit, you express them so much better than I. Here's to hoping we both get out of our blue moods soon. Hugs to you from here in Cambridge If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

Melissa - This is about as dark as anything I've read in a great long time. Are you OK? Should I maybe write you a special kitty-kicker poem or something to cheer you up a bit? |

Melissa, how unusual to read something this dark from you - leaving the reader with a gloomy feeling. Another part of poetry you master, therefore... well done! Although I hope all is well with you. |

Well crafted Melissa. I liked the poem a lot, but I hope you're doing well. God bless America, my home sweet home. [This message has been edited by Elizabeth (edited 10-05-2001).] |

indeed, there are few who know the darkness as well as you. . . superbly done my friend. . . ----------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Melissa, I thought I was the only one that went from hot to cold. But I see you also touch upon the bold of coldest cold. I think it's in the make up of a good poet. *L* |
