Mutiny

I labor at each breath I take
as memories become the dust,
the concrete thoughts, that settle in
the missing moments,
caught behind such tired eyes.

The tasks before me, burden felt
confined, attempt to slog away,
resistance strikes a heavy blow
as underground rebellion
begins it's rise.

I've read this five times and most often it seems it is about a process of moving on.  Then again, it's late and maybe it's just me.  Loved this!

nakdthoughts - morning, you're up rather late. Hope that all is well, and getting stronger from what I read in your writing...

Duncan...and maybe you are partially right and yes it was late when I wrote it..is not my usual style. Thank you *s

Logan..that poor Willow, just when I think it  has it made, something comes along to pester it. ~smiling back a thanks

BC...yes I was up rather late and up rather early now, sleep evades me at the moment..my mind is stronger, but  my body seems weak. Thank you for the caring words. *s

amazing isn't it... how the weight of things haunts our life.... how we always question...

as usual..a very nice write. I do hope you find some peace..and I do hope you find the strength you need to deal with all that is...and what no longer is...

Wynter-
Well, this may not be your 'usual style',
   but I certainly enjoyed it.
   Nicely done, my friend.
   Hugs,
