ALWAYS Always. Such a long time , yet that’s what you said; always, forever, ‘till death do us part, yet I’ve barely aged and you’re already saying goodbye. Goodbye. Such finality. Do you mean always, like in forever, ‘till death do us part? Or do you mean…always, like before I’ve grown much older? Always. I thought I knew it’s meaning, then I married you, found it an arbitrary word meaning different things, at different times, used by you, always, as the situation warrants. Always. Forever to me. Beyond conceiveability. I’ll love you – Always though you only loved me – always. Always, forever…now what was it you said about Forever? wesley james beard, jr. (c)August 2001 |

So many have felt the pain of promises unkept. I'm so sorry if you are one of the many. It seems words mean nothing in this day and age. --------------- "What you do speaks so loud...that I can't hear what you say." --------------- I desire no promises. One must prove their love to me. This is a lovely piece. The brave may die...but the cautious never live... |

Strong write over one small word. Thoughtful and questioning. Sad subject, but very well written If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

Gee guys, Never expected this kind of reaction (in the comments)- wrote it more as a "fun" piece (at least that's what I had in mind, but guess I'm "always" destined to write in a love or love lost vein...even when it's in fun - gotta work on that!) Anyway, really appreciate your comments and insight...THIS IS NOT ME - as mentioned before, I may have a nack toward the sadder aspects but the only sadness in me, more or less, is the lack of cold, hard, CASH! I promise to tell when/if the hard facts relate to me. Again, thanks for you comments and concern (thats the really wonderful thing about PIP - people caring about people!) |
