Peace On Earth By: Noah Eaton 2/18/01 Take a moment and imagine where our Earth has went and what may had come Free of the contagious rape of innocence, dark wraith converting lights marrow Pandora's mole tearing up at the bright souls of youth, permanent toothmarks of it's sour fangs etched at the core A world with all chaos locked away in Pandora's box, shipped away and returned to sender Close your eyes... Dream on... Free yourself of surrounding images Put your dream into perspective... Paint that picture... Crawl into it... Look around... What do you see? Let's assume you wer ethe head-honcho, you had the power in your hands Rewind your vision, play it to yourself, compare and contrast your fantasy to reality What must be changed, what must remain, how can you do it? Outline your mind, the thesis statement written in the friendly campfire of holding hands the product to peace on earth... Dreaming of a world where the children could achieve anything, the parents there to guide them on with pride Where differences can be settled, uniqueness is special, where everyone could breathe in a place without superiority or arguments Where all lovers are there to stay, no hearts are torn away Where the search for the pit at the end of the rainbow is no ignis fatuus Walk on... Keep that thought... Burden away your burdens... Secure your dream... I guess there wasn't enough time for Him to complete the whole dark to light conversion Maybe it was all meant to be to test us to be stronger and learn to be Perhaps he resigned Himself to let us take it from here, playing the role of guardian Could it be He believed we could do it, and He would come back to assist if all were to collapse? Now we all are chosen to bring light back to this crestfallen paradise Here on dusty soils of this babylon we stand, under an intoxicated horizon Until we recover thes elost infinitives in whom we shalt break to the world gently I will keep this vision of peace for earth to myself, sharing all the love and light I have to give to this crying world And dream on... |

You have beautifully shared of yourself. A glorious moment of thought and dreams. All things are possible if for just yourself...for just a moment...but what would make it amazing is to share it with the world. This would be euphoric if all could grasp it. I think he believes in us. Just as a father would. Thank you! Sincerely, Regina |

A really intoxicating view of what a perfect world would be. I guess if I really painted such a picture, I'd drown in it, would rather not return to a world with so much flaws and cruel people. Yet again, we live and learn from this imperfection. We know now we should not 'do unto others, what we do not want others to do unto us'. So, what's to say an imperfect world is not a good world? |
