You were the most popular girl in school I could never see what you saw in me My heart broke when you broke the dating rule Other guys danced with you and you could never see I wanted you to be free and did'nt say a word All I asked was for the last dance to be with me I loved you so much my happy little bird I knew you might flirt but your heart belonged to me This poem was inspired by Enchantress and the song "Save the last dance for me" by the Drifters. paladin [This message has been edited by paladin (edited 10-01-2001).] |
