A Friend A friend is a person that can make your life worthwhile, just to hear their voice or see their lovely smile. They can brighten your day when you are feeling sad and blue, or make you laugh with glee at all the funny things you do. A friend will listen to all your problems and fears, offering you comfort and kind words to dry your tears. To have a friend you must be one, replacing all the favors that were so unselfishly done. A true friend sticks with you, in good times and in bad, they always make you happy, and never, never, sad. If you can find that special person, to make your life a treasure, you are very blessed indeeed, beyond all measure. (c)2001Marie C. |

It is wondeful to have a friend like this. I have one. Everyone should have one..or a thousand  This is a very sweet poem, and an excellent explanation of what a friend should be like. Sometimes the heart needs the solace of solitude and silence. |
